MLC Building - Hamilton

Hamilton is full of buildings with long and interesting history and stories attached to them. We were privileged to paint the exterior of the MLC (Mutual Life and Citizens') building in Garden Place a few years ago. It's always nice to see the work we've done when we're out and about, and this one, in particular, stands out due to its location in the heart of the city. Here's a lovely write by Ann McEwan in the Waikato Times about the history of the building. The building started out as offices for the Guardian Royal Exchange Assurance Company in 1956.
